Our MTB’s are good honest bikes- great specs, great geometries with
a host of independent reviews backing our opinion that we can out
perform others. We love riding trails, if you do too then its worth
trying out a Dawes - You won’t be sorry.
The core fundamental philosophy at Dawes doesn’t change with fashion
and basic design principles are not forgotten. For instance, most of
our frames use tube profiles that are round and are kept to a diameter
that is as small as possible while remaining structurally sound. Sure,
we could go for large, in yer face hydroformed tubesets, but more metal
equals more weight (that you have to carry!). They’re also expensive so
other component compromises have to be made to keep cost down. Its also
probable that in twelve months time the fat tube is out of fashion
& your bike looks dated, not so with a Dawes.
