The XC1.6 is similar to the 1.4 Disc but with a few upgrades to note. The 1.6 is fitted with a Shimano Acera rear derailleur, Truvativ Isoflow chainwheel and Hayes mechanical disc brakes. The bike also features an upgraded RST fork with the Omega being used, this fork offers an extra 20mm of travel but keeps the lockout feature.
